Pretty flowers, growing to bloom
Tree roots, grabbing the ground
Selfish grass, stealing water
Humming birds, hitting windows
flowers wilting
trees falling
grass pulled
water seeping
birds falling
Mother coughing
bugs devoured
disease spreading
hospitals full
money evaporating
banks empty
world revolting
want to get in
wait list high
survival low
Everything's dead
as quick as snow.
Wow! This is so cool I like how the words are placed on the blog! 👏👏😄
ReplyDeleteMy god! Snow is supposed to be happy! Great piece of writing!
ReplyDeleteI love how you used personification. ( I think that's what it's called) This poem lit up my face. Incredible job.
ReplyDeleteOMG I'm in awe. I really love the format and your end line.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you laid this out! But it did make it a little hard to follow.
ReplyDeleteThough these concepts are dreary and seemingly random, I feel like there's a deeper story hidden within this amazingly formatted poem. When the world ends it will be covered in snow.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhhghighhhhaaa!! That's so depressing. I love it.
ReplyDeleteIt's too real. I loved the layout of this poem. It reminds me of nuclear winter.
ReplyDeleteWow. I really like this. I love how it slowly escalates and is really deep. But the sad thing i that it could actually happen. But who knows. What can you do. Still, great job.
