Gonna Summer


Gonna by a new swimsuit,
Gonna dip my toes in the sand
Gonna look really cute,
Gonna get a good tan

Gonna go to the beach,
Gonna garden in the yard
Gonna eat a peach,
Gonna sign up to be a life guard

Gonna go to the pool,
Gonna buy a beach ball
Gonna be so cool,
Gonna go to the mall

Gonna set off a firework,
Gonna have a party
Gonna have no homework,
Gonna not be sorry

Gonna have a birthday,
Gonna sell some lemonade
Gonna go outside and play,
Gonna make memories that won't fade

Gonna clog up the pool,
Gonna need a plumber
Gonna have no school,
Gonna summer.
